Juniper coding for the SFP-10G-ER

We program this SFP-10G-ER with Juniper coding before shipping, at no extra cost. Your Juniper equipment (EX, QFX, MX, SRX, ACX) then sees it as its own optic, just like a EX-SFP-10GE-ER. Optically it's the same SFP+ transceiver: 10GBASE-ER, up to 40 km over OS2.

Junos usually doesn't block third-party modules, but lists them in 'show chassis hardware' without a Juniper part number, may raise an 'unsupported optics' alarm and can limit JTAC support for that port. With Juniper coding the module reports as a Juniper optic, including DOM readout via 'show interfaces diagnostics optics'.
