Aruba coding for the SFP-10G-LR

We program this SFP-10G-LR with Aruba coding before shipping, at no extra cost. Your Aruba equipment (CX 6300, 6400, 8360, 2930F/M, 3810M) then sees it as its own optic, just like a J9151E. Optically it's the same SFP+ transceiver: 10GBASE-LR, up to 10 km over OS2.

ArubaOS-CX and ArubaOS-Switch only accept modules with Aruba/HP coding; a generic module gives 'unsupported transceiver' and the port stays down. With Aruba coding the module works as an Aruba optic. Note: some CX models need a separate setting or licence for third-party modules, see the note under Coding.

The SFP-10G-LR is an SFP+ transceiver for 10GBASE-LR: 10 Gb/s over single-mode fiber (OS2) up to 10 km, at 1310 nm, with LC duplex connector and DOM/DDM monitoring. Available generic (MSA) or pre-coded for 21 vendors, including Cisco, Juniper and Brocade: pick your equipment's vendor under Coding and we code it before shipping, at no extra cost. Tested, with test report and lifetime warranty.
