RouterOS has no vendor lock: a generic MSA module usually works too. With MikroTik coding RouterOS shows the module under the MikroTik name and reads DOM (temperature, Tx/Rx power) cleanly under Interfaces > SFP. Useful if you want a network of MikroTik optics.
