We program this SFP-10G-LR with Ubiquiti coding before shipping, at no extra cost. Your Ubiquiti equipment (UniFi Switch, Dream Machine, EdgeSwitch) then sees it as its own optic, just like a UACC-OM-SM-10G-D-2. Optically it's the same SFP+ transceiver: 10GBASE-LR, up to 10 km over OS2.
UniFi and EdgeSwitch accept most MSA modules, but don't always show or manage them well. With Ubiquiti coding UniFi recognises the module as its own UACC module, including DOM in the UniFi interface.
